The BNP and That Spitfire.

The BNP launches it’s 2009 European Election Campaign Roadshow with the image of a WW2 Spitfire and entitling the campaign ‘The Battle for Britain’

As can be seen on the BNP Spit’ the squadron code is RF. This code was assigned between August 1940 to April 1945 to the unit with the highest enemy kill rate during the Battle of Britain.

Which squadron? Ironically, it was a Polish squadron. One of 16 Polish squadrons fighting for the RAF.

The BNP seem to be saying that they knew the spitfire is that of a Polish squadron. Saving face or hiding embarrassment?
